This remarkable event was not only a culinary showcase but also a valuable experiential learning platform where students exhibited their skills in hospitality, food preparation, and event management.
The event brought together faculty members, college staff, proud parents, and distinguished guests, offering them a warm and flavorful experience rooted in Middle Eastern traditions. The carefully curated menu transported guests on a delightful culinary journey, highlighting the richness and diversity of Arabian flavors.
Menu Highlights:
Starter: Falafel – a crispy, golden-brown Middle Eastern favorite made with chickpeas and spices
Soup: Bride Soup – a comforting and aromatic soup symbolizing celebration and warmth
Main Course: Mandi – traditional Arabian rice served with tender, spiced meat, slow-cooked to perfection
Dessert: Basbousa – a sweet, moist semolina cake soaked in rose-scented syrup, served as a delightful end to the meal
The ambiance was thoughtfully decorated with Arabian-inspired elements, adding authenticity to the overall dining experience. Students took charge of every aspect—from kitchen operations to service, decor, and guest relations—showcasing their ability to manage a professional culinary event with finesse and creativity.
